The company was founded in 1977

In 1977, the production of new DX series engines was launched, which was introduced as early as next year. A series of diesel engines with five and six cylinders covered the power range from 80 to 160 horsepower.

In 1980, this series supplemented with a 07er model with four cylinders.

In 1982, the company began production under license in Croatia

Since 1990, production of AgroXtra tractors has begun.

In 1991 a new combine of the TOPLINER series introduced.

Since 1995, the company Deutz-Fahr joined the Italian group then LamborghiniHurlimann, renamed SAME DEUTZ-FAHR SDF.

In 1996, the production of tractors from Cologne transferred to Lauingen. This year, the production of the Gigant 400 forage harvester commenced. The Agrotron TTV introduced with a continuously variable transmission.

2002 Combine production in the Lauingen plant stopped.

Deutz-Fahr acquired a combine plant in Croatia in 2005, the combine harvesters made directly by the company.

Since 2004, the production of Teleskoplader loaders has begun, in cooperation with JLG Industries

Thanks to the cooperation with the Argentine company Vassalli Fabril, the first rotary combine of the Deutz-Fahr brand introduced.

2009 marked the advent of the Agrotrac tractor series, which designed for countries with less stringent emission standards.

In 2013 the C9000 series of combines introduced.

To date, more than 1,000,000 tractors assembled and operated throughout the world.
