Mitsubishi company name is relatively new, but the history of manufacturing and sales of agricultural machinery is old, the founding dates back to 1914.

Until then it has been popular as a “SATOH” brand.

The brief history described below.

1914 – Tadjiro Satoh was founded with SATOH lightning handling machine

1945 – changed company name to Satoh Seiki Co., Ltd.

1971 – abandoned management due to stagnation and abandoned voluntary reconstruction, applied for corporate reorganization law.

Delisting at the current Tokyo Stock Exchange. A plan to rebuild management with Reika Hayakawa serving as a trustee

1980 – Merger with Mitsubishi Equipment Sales Co., Ltd., changed its name to Mitsubishi Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd.

2007 – Integrate eight domestic wide-area sales companies into two companies and six parts centers in two places

2011 – Become a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Heavy Industries

2014 – Two domestic wide-area sales companies integrated into one company

2015 – Agreement with Mahindra & Mahindra in India on strategic collaboration.

2015 – Mahindra & Mahindra AG acquired 33.3% of the stock, changed its name to Mitsubishi Mahindra Agricultural Machinery Co., Ltd.
