Tigercat unveiled a prototype of a new log handling machine that can be used as a grapple loader.
The new 865 can used as a loader with a variety of boom options for different types of grapples, or as a powerful processor capable of handling large harvester heads in complex work cycles.
The two-way boom drive provides high torque and speed for high-performance loading and handling.
The machine equipped with a Tigercat FPT N67 engine with a power of 165 kW at a rotation speed of 1900 rpm.
The design of the new machine provides free and unobstructed access to the engine and daily maintenance points.
Large housing doors and a spring-loaded side service platform provide a large, comfortable work area for hydraulic component maintenance and filter replacement.
Thanks to the large counterweight with cast structure, the machine has excellent stability.
Access to the engine from the rear of the machine is provided by a hinged door.
The raised rear-entry cab, full-length front window and additional floor windows provide excellent visibility with clear lines of sight.
Operator visibility further enhanced by LED work lighting and the RearVIEW rear view camera system.
