History of Kanga Loaders
There’re some KANGA Loader Manuals PDF above the page.
Kanga Loaders began in Australia in 1981 with the creation of the world’s first commercially produced, stand-on compact skid steer loader, initially designed as a motorized wheelbarrow.
Founded by John Alan Porter and Doug McIlwraith. The company developed into the Kanga loader brand after a partnership dispute in 1985, eventually receiving an Australian Design Award in 1989.
The brand acquired by the Digga Group in 2010 and continues to be a leading manufacturer of compact loaders with a global dealer network. Though the US market relaunched under the Kanga name in 2020 after previous distribution under different brand names.
The original concept was a simple motorized wheelbarrow, which quickly evolved into a versatile, multi-functional earthmoving tool with a wide range of attachments.
Kanga focused on creating a quality, reliable, and user-friendly product designed for narrow access and frequent stops. Making it suitable for various industries like landscaping, construction, and agriculture.
