History of Valmet Tractors
There’re some VALMET Tractor Manuals PDF above the page.
The agricultural equipment manufacturing plant opened in 1951. The first was the Valmet 20 tractor model.
The start of sales was so successful that a year later 75 models were released, and by 1954 the number of machines produced reached 2,000 thousand.
Another important event soon occurred – the brand began its cooperation with the Swedish company Volvo BM, which specialized in the production of soil transportation and loading machines.
The merger of the two large-scale organizations took place in 1979.
In the Volvo BM Valmet format, the tandem existed for 5 years, starting in 1982, when Volvo BM transferred its part of the assets to the tractor manufacturer.
In 1997, the brand name changed to Valtra. Then a number of significant events took place, in particular, a proposal for cooperation with AGCO was accepted.
AGCO equipment is not only the embodiment of Scandinavian quality, but also the possibility of year-round operation in any, even the harshest conditions.
All equipment undergoes mandatory tests and characterized by its multifunctionality: the equipment covers both agricultural and municipal issues.
A distinctive feature of Valtra is a loyal approach to creating a tractor configuration.
All functional requirements and wishes of the client taken into account when selecting the necessary functionality for an individual order.
History of Valmet Komatsu tractors a merger of the Finnish tractor company Valmet (founded in 1951 as a tractor manufacturer) and the Japanese Komatsu.
In 2004, Komatsu acquired Valmet‘s forestry equipment business.
